Why poker

The General is remembered as a strategist who put the case for air power against Japan years before Pearl Harbor; as the man who flew into the Pacific three days after Midway, leading his own plan; and as the partner you wanted in your bridge or poker game in the interwar years. Skill, nerve, and arithmetic at the table were of a piece with the rest of his discipline.

Osage Poker is the ecosystem’s nod to that discipline. Cash games and tournaments, hosted online for ecosystem members and in person at curated events. We treat the game as a craft.

How it works

• Identity gates via Osage ID; no anonymous accounts, no nicknames-only sign-ups.
• Each account is jurisdiction-tagged at onboarding; play is filtered to what is legal where you are.
• Cash games and tournaments settle on Osage Network or by traditional rails, at the player’s preference.
• Anti-collusion review runs at the protocol layer; suspicious hand-pairs are flagged and reviewed within 24 hours.
• Rake is published per table; weekly totals are posted on a public dashboard.
• Responsible-play limits (daily loss, daily session, monthly deposit) are enforced at the protocol layer, not at the UI layer.
• Self-exclusion is one click and irrevocable for the period selected.

Anti-collusion & integrity

• Hand histories are stored on Osage Network with per-account read access; we cannot silently re-grade a hand.
• Per-account session metadata (IP, device, geo) is hashed and compared across pairs; multi-account play results in permanent exclusion and forfeit.
• Bot detection runs continuously; an account exhibiting non-human betting patterns is suspended pending manual review.
• Dealer RNG is published; seed and commitment are posted before every shoe.

Annual tournament

The annual Tinker Cup is held each June. Buy-in proceeds, after rake to the house, go to the Osage Foundation’s Tinker Scholars program.

Where this is permitted

Real-money play is offered only in jurisdictions where it is legal and properly licensed. Where it is not, the table is a play-money training environment.
